Reduta has prepared its 41st International Jazz Festival, unique on the Czech music scene. Visitors can look forward to jazz masters from all over the world, chamber jazz bands and big bands. From 30 September to 10 November you will hear the flourishing of contemporary popular music in the hall of one of the TOP 10 European clubs.

In the past, he has featured the greatest stars of jazz, blues, swing and dixieland, from Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Goodman and Herbie Hancock to John Scofield and Cecil Taylor with the orchestra. Also this year's festival, traditionally in the jazz cradle of Prague - Reduta, offers a variety of great personalities from all continents.

Luciana Pires is coming from Brazil. Berklee Luciana Pires will be surrounded by a six-member Czech backing band (two backing vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums) led by Czech jazz pianist Mark Novotny. Currently, the singer Luciana Pires has a project that emphasizes the combination of Brazilian music, jazz and soul. She is also working on two other projects: Tribute to Amy Winehouse and Tribute to Billie Holiday. Luciana's work is a respect for Brazilian music and jazz. This January, Luciana had her first concert at a branch of the legendary New York Jazz Club Blue Note, which was inaugurated in Sao Paulo.

Wild Brazilian guitarist and singer comes back to Reduta - this time with his South American trio (piano-drums-guitar). Adriano is a well-known name all over the world - he has performed at major European festivals and has played in the most renowned clubs, from Ronnie Scotts to Doctor Gabs. Look forward to genuine Brazil, samba and bossa nova sounds. And if you don't think you can dance and sing, Adriano will quickly mislead you.

Emma Larsson, originally from Sweden, will also fly to Prague.

In New York, it is steadily surrounded by a world-class band - its American Quartet can be heard regularly at shows in the city's best jazz clubs such as Blue Note, Miles' Café and Zinc Bar. Emma introduces a new sort of singer who pushes the boundaries of jazz vocals over the edge of the swing into an empire that nobody has ever traveled before. It has flawless timing, perfect phrasing and great audience connectivity.The breathtaking melody and lightness of singing makes Madame Pratiwi the most sought-after jazz singer from Indonesia, who will also perform at this year's festival. The originally local star soon enchanted the German and American audiences and is now regarded as an intriguing master in jazz standards singing.The French ensemble Dirty Deep from Strasbourg, which plays catchy heavy blues influenced by folk and rock, will also perform at the festival. Originally a one-man project (Viktor S. as Dirty Deep) originated in 2010. Since then he has toured all over Europe to spread his musical beliefs. He sees his music as a lifestyle. Drum rhythm, bass bubbling, sharpened guitar, harmonica tones and singing as a kind of redemption… The result is a very authentic, unrepeatable, explosive blues show. Czech jazz fans will not be deprived either. This year's festival will present, for example, one of the most distinctive Czech jazz “projects” Bohemia After Dark Project: A Tribute to Bop Giants. This project focuses on authentic interpretation of classical recordings, but especially neglected jewels from Kenny Clark's discography.Elena Sonenshine, the first lady of Czech jazz, will sing with her renowned band Swing Quartet, who will accompany Elena's voice full of power and tenderness, which every fan of good music will love. One of the most famous Czech big bands, Bohemia Big Band, will captivate fans of swing and jazz from old school. 

Every spectator reliably falls in love with the charming singing of actress and singer Tereza Krippner - especially when she performs with her The Masters. Or you can undoubtedly enjoy the most famous Czech jazz orchestra, which has been headed for 40 years by charismatic conductor, composer and pianist Milan Svoboda. Jazz Big Band in Reduta plays its own and world-famous compositions in original arrangements. Many famous personalities of the world jazz scene performed with the orchestra.

 The 41st International Jazz Festival will be an unforgettable, unforgettable experience for Czech audiences and foreign tourists visiting Prague.
